Demo vs. License
All demo downloads are just that... demos. They allow usage for a set
number of days or entries, depending on the program. Fully function
version are provided once payment has been received. If you have
purchased a program and need a register able version it can be downloaded
in the Updates section.
To unlock the software, a user key will be provided once the transaction
is complete. The device's Palm User Name is needed to unlock all Palm
OS software. The Palm User Name is shown on the registration screen
for the fully function versions of software.
If you have purchased a product from PDA Solutions 4U and you lost
the key don't worry. Simply click the contact link to the left and send
a request for a new key along with your Palm User Name for Palm devices
or your Device ID for Pocket PC devices. You usually will have a new
key sent to you within 24-hours.
What if I change devices?
If you have purchased a product from PDA Solutions 4U and you are upgrading
to new hardware we can generate a new key for you if the Palm User
Name or Pocket PC Device ID has changed. This practice is a courtesy
to our customers and initially done free of charge. However, if we
feel the requests have come too often and at a rate that does not
seem reasonable we reserve the right to charge for newly generated
user keys.
How do I unlock my software?
To unlock Pocket PC programs you will need an unlock key. The key is generated from the
Owner User Name that is displayed on the registration screen. The owner name will
need to be provided at the time of purchase so an unlock key can be
created for the device

Where are my Palm OS files stored on the PC?
File locations vary on each machine depending on the application used to sync the PC with the PDA and the user defined preferences. Typically, all backup files are located in the C:\Program Files\Your Device\Your User Name\Backup folder.
If they are not in that location, perform a search on the entire computer using *.prc as the search criteria in the text box:.
That is a Palm OS file extension and the results of the search will
show where the files are stored on the PC.
